Very nice animated buttons. Is there a way to set a link on these buttons without going into flash. In other words, is there a way to pass the link variable thru Flashvars or in the html they are placed in?

maxxnas – Unfortunately no. The link for these buttons must be modified in Flash. I thought about setting up an associated XML file, but ultimately decided it would be overkill.
On the positive side, the included instructions explain very clearly how to change the link in Flash. So if you have Flash installed on your computer, but have just never used it – it should still be easy enough to accomplish. You can always contact me if you get stuck.

Dude, these buttons are sweet! Do you mind me asking how you achieved this 3D effect? Did you use a 3D program like 3ds max?

glinskyc – Thanks for the compliment. Each 3D element was modeled in Blender, animated, and exported as a sequence of PNG images. The images were imported into Flash and set up as frame-by-frame animation inside a movieclip.

Thanks. I use XML frequently, but in the case of these individual buttons, I thought it might be overkill.

If purchased, would I be able to edit the wording on the buttons? For instance, would I be able to change “Home” to “Home Page”?

Yes – you can edit the text on the buttons. Everything can be changed in the FLA file using the Flash authoring program.
