Elastic XML Menu

Has anyone been able to use images in place of the boxes? The so-called super helpful comments really are not that helpful. I am hoping to use images in place of the boxes, but all the comments appear to be ignored by the creator of this. Would love some help.

Can I use each of these buttons in my main movie to load external swfs in an empty movie clip in my main movie?

I want to use an action like this on each of the buttons:

on (release) { if (_root.currMovie == undefined) { _root.currMovie = “home”; container.loadMovie(“home.swf”; } else if (_root.currMovie != “home” { if (container._currentframe >= container.midframe) { _root.currMovie = “home”; container.play(); } } }

Does anyone know if you can use these as buttons to go to a certain frame in your fla? I can not figure out how. I don’t want to get a URL or Image, I just need to gotoAndPlay a differnt frame!!

Hello I just sent a message to you but it was returned. I bought your menu elastic item but when I inserted into Dreamweaver it is not visible, in other words it doesn’t work. I know how to insert it but it doesn’t appear nor play. Do you have an idea of why this is ocurring? I hope you can help me. Thanks, Denise

Is there a way to call on an external .swf? Is there a way to call on an external .jpg? I tried this, but it didn’t work.

Cool effects. I would like to make a website with the elastic easing transitions such as in this file using a variation of the button “array” as the navigation. However, it looks as if this code is more elaborate than I thought i would be. I was hoping to make each of the buttons different colors and call on different mc’s with the same effects. Maybe take this in consideration for another file to upload as this one seems to be very popular.

Love the menu and the effct, but i believe it has a glitch!

Try to insert a component (UI for example) in the main movie. You may also delete it (it would be still listed in the fla Library).

The menus are gone! along with the xml data!

.... there is no known way to add an image to the menu … there is an image=””, but it does not work

... very sorry I bought this after wasting 3 hours trying to load images into the file. I’ve read alot of comments and there has been no solution offered by the author.

How do you link a local file instead of get “url” I just need to use it for local file not external file. There is mo help in that regards!

the file doesnot work anymore. Where in AS do you remove ( /* ) ?

This piece DOES NOT support images without modifying yourself.

I’m not sure if you’ve noticed, but there’s a bug when moving the mouse off the selected item from the bottom. When the mouse is in the gap in between the item and it’s reflection, it will repeatedly activate/deactivate. Hopefully this information helps to improve your product.

I was hoping to use the project as a simple presentation of some of my clients. But I can’t replace the images, I can’t make the buttons larger and I can’t point the buttons to different contentholders (only links).

Waste of money.
