woooow, loading the whole pictures and resizing them into thumbnails – not cool at all. And you do it without at least some kind of preloader :( The gallery got stuck many times, choosing to load one gallery did not load it, maybe because it has no control at all over the loading process. Very raw.

agree, it’s promising and looks good, but is should be done with a preloader and definitely don’t load up the entire images initially, just do thumbs. and once the user has selected an image to view in the main window, there should be a “zoom to fullscreen” button on the image, so they can see it large. good start though…

Thanks for your comments, perhaps they would have been even more helpful if you had purchased the file first!

FYI the thumbnails used for the gallery CAN be any image you like, so you are free to create smaller images and use them instead. Granted I have not done that in this example, I will do so and re-upload the sample images.

I do take your point about a preloader though. Will include one shortly.

I am not going to be doing a zoom to fullscreen button as this utility is not designed to be a fullscreen flash file. It is supposed to be embedded.

Your file is perfect for my site however, I’m unable to get the galleries and images to load when I use the loadMovie command to link it from my main flash movie. My code in my main movie is: container.loadMovie(“url”;); container._lockroot = true; Is there something I am missing to get the images and galleries to load when I embed it into my main movie?

Hi Julian, you need to edit the paths to the container clips in the ClipLibrary class.

Hope this helps.

Is it possible to edit the gallery navigation? Instead of the 4 thumbnails on the right rotating horizontally, I’d like to edit the layout to have 4 stacked images that move up and down vertically. Can you help with that?
