A simple but useful event countdown ticker. Great for pages under construction with a known launch date. All code resides on the widget’s time line and is well commented. Additional documentation describes how to modify the widget’s variables to your liking.

– Fixed Daylight Savings Time transition bug. Logic issue remedied in the code. Widget now supports linking to a user specified URL when countdown completes!!

. Furthermore, once the event day has passed ( a full 24 hour cycle) the ticker begins anew, counting down to the same month and date of the event but for the following year!!
