External Preloader 1.1 does exactly what it says. It loads an external Flash file (SWF) and displays the percentage on the page for your viewers to see while your file is downloaded. No more fussing with dropping in a movieclip on the first frame, and messing around with frame numbers and ActionScript. We have made everything easier and better to use by incorporating XML , and making pretty much everything simpler to customizable. It was coded in ActionScript3 (AS3) and XML , compatible with Flash CS3 +. We have decided to use ActionScript3, because we feel that AS2 will soon be obsolete with future developments of Adobe Flash. This also guarantees that our customers will enjoy our product for a longer period of time. Version 1.1 Fixed errors in the packaging of External Preloader, and added the feature to align the loaded SWF through XML . You may choose to align to the top left, center it, or set a custom coordinate.
