Ich habe den neuesten Flashplayer installiert und kann ja auch deine Preview bei activeden sehen. Irgendwas stimmt wieder mit der index Datei nicht, glaube ich – das hatten wir schonmal, oder?

Excellent App but i have some issues ( probably just being an idiot! )

I uploaded the CONTENTS of the bin file to ../scms3/ as requested, went through the install with all permissions set correctly, the install folder deleted before i started SCMS as requested and all ok. However:

1> Whenever I make a user change ( add etc ) I can log in then nothing happens as ANY user and I need to re-install

2> When I edit an ANSI encoded file ( like a windows .txt file ) which contains quotes (“) when it saves it adds a ’/’ character before the quotes. I.E “hello” becomes /”hello/” which ruins the text file!

3> Oh also I see some users mention a /scms3/bin folder.. What is this and do i need to create it?

please assist – great file when i get it working no doubt

I’m hosted with 1and1.co.uk – I have an MS and a Linux server for ASP and PHP and this site is onthe Linux server. I hope that’s not going to be an issue. I will conatct them directly if it is as I really want this working – it’s the best CMS I ;ve seen on here in a long, long time.

Hi, yestarday, in the afternoon I buyed your SCMS3 and I tried for hours to do that it works, but it seems don’t work..Before of all , it is terrible slow and , when I change anything ( a simple word in a Xml file too), it say that it saved all, but after I will see only a blank page.. i am edditting .xml files with quotes and it adds the \”blah\”

also having log in issues after makeing changes in the settings area…have to reload

I would love to get this software. Questions:

1. Can the associated application be launched to open the files found in the Search List instead of just going to the Directory. Most of the users will expect the associated application to be launched and the file opened, just like in Windows or the MAC .

2. Can Users Create and Manage their own projects.

3. Can There be various levels of Admin Users to Approve Projects.

4. How Difficult is it to Modify Code to add above features?

Thanks for your reponse. I really like this program and am tempted to get it now. But I wish it had the project management featiure. A Project consist of a folder of collective work a user is doing consisting of images, videos, text files, PDFs, audio, word documents, etc. These are all stored in one directory called a project directory. This directory can be copied, shared, deleted, expanded, searched, accept uploads or downloads. Most of this you are already doing, but there has to be a record in a project table for each project that users create, can list, sort, search, edit, approve, activate or deactivate.

Each User can create multiple projects which can be edited, updated, shared, restricted or deleted. You are already doing most of these, so all you need is a project table with each record with the project ID, Name, owner, description and other details and a link pointing to a folder or directory which will open once you click on it in the project table. Just like you now do with the results of the search where you take us to the directory containing the search item.

Sorry for being so detail, but I looked at a lot of CMS and Secure Client Area programs and have even bought some, but they did not do the job. Yours seem to be the closest, except for the Project management bit. Great product. Greater wiith Project management.

This can be applied to any flash based website that has xml…to edit and change xml? It looks very interesting…

tx for your quick reply. I just purchased it….it installed fine, just wanted to ask you how to load xml files that are not in scms3 folder (I can view only the files that are in csms3)? My other xml files are in root directory and some other folders (all those files are from already existing website).

Hi..nice work. Any easy way to change labels/text within the pages? Some of the users are not that great in English and I’d like to limit some options….. I’d like to have only file manager and xml edior displayed, without text and css editor. Before I start to dig through the codes, ...Thank you!
