@moabxj01, you can remove the frame Layer in source and export a noFrame one,it’s just for design, you can set all nodes to open a URL , we tried to show different way of using this however this can be changed easily just by define your file type in XML , you should set type “url” for all your nodes in XML ;)

nhstudio, thanks this has worked really nicely on my site, i was wondering if this menu could support subcategories? If not have you done anything similar that supports subcategories or can this be modified to support it? Cheapest option would be great as i do not have much money!

Many thanks

Hi there, with current codes it would be too hard adding the second level, the main concept and programming based on one level menu.

Hi! This is a great menu! But is it possible to make a cms version of this – so it is possible to add content via the web – or do you have a similar version in cms?

Unfortunately we have no CMS version, this works simply with Flash & XML .

Hello can i remove the outline border in the menu?

They look like borders because of 1 PIXEL distance between Buttons
Open FLA >Library>MenuMC>Background Layer> here just change the Background shape colour from Black to your Buttons colour ;)

I love the product. I am having trouble moving the movie clip into my file. I have copied all the assets to the same folder. It runs when I use the file I downloaded but not when I copy the movie clip and files to my fla.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks

I’m having a problem that I can’t figure out. I want the links to open in the same window instead of a blank one. I changed the getURL to _self in the ActionScript, but I’ve also cropped down the swf. User: moabxj01 commented that he was having the same problem. I read your reply, but I had a very difficult time understanding it. Could you please respond to my question in the most basic form? I’m new at this, so a very detailed explanation would help me a lot. THANKS !

open Flash>Library>buttons MC>ButtonShape Layer>click on button shape and open actionacript panel>goto Line 10 and change
getURL(this.url_txt.text, “_blank”);
to
getURL(this.url_txt.text, “_self”);
save the flash and export it again, it shoud work.

The download Package includes two Version of this [Long & Short], it can be resize to any new Height or Width but it should be done in Flash source and sure needs Flash knowledge ;)
