Hi mafloral, you can load this as an external flash under every AS2 Flash, in project files we’ve also prepared a sample of loading this into a new flash that may help you.

The only thing that i am concerned about is the centering of the file. Some of the files i bought had no problem taking the center of the main template, but some were very hard or it did not work at all. So let’s say i would like to add this map into the V4.1 template by a benson. What would i have to do to center it x/y and also to center for different resolutions? This is the problems i was having before with some files. What i am trying to do is load your file as a module through xml into the main template. So my question is, what do i have to do or change in order to make it work like the modules from the v4.1 template.

hi mafloral, as you can see the Map align itself into the stage center, you should remove the center alignment function from the Map file, i think your Template align an external flash movie automatic to its container center or better to ask the benson about this.

NHS The reason why i am asking is because i would love to use your file in this template. I don’t understand when you say to remove the center alignment from the map file?? Are you reffering to your file? If yes i don’t have your file but i just want to make sure that it will work before i buy. Now if you check out the v4.1 template all it’s modules load in the middle at a certain size. So the template is capable of loading external swf files. All i would like to know is what would i have to do to center your map file like the external modules of the v4.1 template. The size of the map does not matter on how big it will be once it’s loaded inside the template. I don’t care if it is bigger than the other modules from the template my only concern is that if i load it as an external module it will center it self inside the template according to any resolution that the viewer might have. That is it. I bout files before that i did not have to do anything to to center them inside a template, but some files did not work and i was not able to use them. I hope this helps a bit to understand what i am trying to do. Thanks

i’ve noticed that if one of the detail windows opens too close to the edge of the movie then the map image “jumps” and moves back into the center. I’m assuming this has something to do with the auto-centering feature. How can I remove this and keep the map from jumping or sliding into place when the movie first loads? I just want the preloader and map to not move at all. Thanks.

Hi I love the functionality of this piece. The only thing I need is the ability to make the the mc_pointer animated. I have hit a couple of walls on this and help would be greatly appreciated.

A few questions before purchase. I like the ease when the flash first opens BUT it may not work for the project – can I stop that?

Can you control where the popup window shows, for instance if I click on a hotspot can I make them all show at the bottom right?

In the pop up you always have a image or movie on the left – can I just add text or html to insert the image anywhere like maybe at the bottom after the text?

Last question, also regarding the popup box, is the size customizable? too allow more text or images?

I do have two questions/problems.

For the popup I would like to remove the image/movie on the left side. How can I do that?

I think I see where I can remove the tween ease action when first opening the file, BUT I am having an issue with publishing it after opening the fla. The lettering etc looks horrible. I think it has to do with mapping the fonts and or anti-alias.

Not sure if this is important: When I first tried opening XML _Map_Detail.fla it said I didn’t have the default font and said I needed verdana (lower v) I selected Verdana (upper V) from my system and opened.

I never got the mapping issue again even opening a new unzipped version of this file.

I sent an email with a screen capture of the Image of the fonts looking bad on the popup to your support email on the 22nd – in case you need to see what it looks like

I have finished putting together my xml map and when i preview the swf it works. I inserted it (xml_map_detail_swf) into my html file however, when I preview it, the only thing that loads is “XML Map Detail Please wait…” yet the map I created never shows up. is there another step? Is there a specific way to insert the right file into an html page? Could you walk me through the steps perhaps?

I have sent a ticket #146614 and also sent a second and they informed me that they do not handle technical issues and that I needed to ask the author of the item directly in this comments section. Is there a different support that I need to contact?
