Hello, I have purchased your file and i cannot get it to work when i try to embed it into a html page… when i upload the bin folder to my server and access it it works great but i am not sure what i am doing wrong when embedding it in another html page… pleaase help…

Hi, thanks for purchasing one of my applications!
Most probably there is something wrong with how the embed code is written. The easiest way to get this working is by looking at the preview for this application at http://activeden.net/item/flex-advanced-xml-banner-rotator/full_screen_preview/84881 Try viewing the source (right click then view source or view frame source), you will find several <object> tags there, copy one of those then edit it to suit your needs. This should solve your problem.

I like what i see in the preview. I just have one question before i purchase. Can this be configured where a banner link can load and play video in the rotator? I really need that feature.

Hello,
Sorry but the application is currently not capable of doing that. You can put links to open a page in a new window or the same window, but you cannot link within the app itself.
Is this addition possible? Can you make it happen?
Any chance you’ll have this with just an FLA ?
... just purchased the item (MAC). Index.html (inside bin folder) displays only the loading bar???(Snowleopard) On 10.4.11 there are tons of error warnings before the loading bar appears.There is no banner visible. We don’nt have Flex Builder 3. Is that the problem?

i have embedded this rotator on my page. Everything is working fine. But the thumbnails are not shown. I have it running withe the newest xampp on a local Windows OS.
What should i do, to see get the thumbnails shown?

Hello,
Thanks for purchasing one of my items.
I believe that thumbnails aren’t automatically generated in this application and you would have to create your own according to the instructions included in the package.
If you have these ready and the images are still not showing, try removing the last slash ”/” in your configuration file.

Hey there. Great job! Can the banner play video? Or is there a way to configure that? I saw the previous question about video, but wasn’t sure if it would be the same as what I need: simply playing video in the banner.

Unfortunately, this cannot play videos in .flv format, you can however use flash animations in .swf format (no .flv inside that .swf either).

i used your banner rotator very often, and i’am happy with it. But now i wan’t to use it as a slide show and view images with different sizees. So the Banner Rotater should be 200×200px for example. And the photos are from a camera with 3000×4000px for example.
How can i modify the rotator to scale this pictures in right ratio down?
I tryed anything in the BannerContainer.as and Banner.as but always its just the whole application or the canvas smaller and not the image.
Can you help me?
