Flex Smart Scrolling Text

This is the Flex version of my smart scrolling text for Flash.

Features:

•This file helps you to automatically scroll the text in a text field when the text is too long to display
•It will detect whether text scrolling is needed
•A soften mask (created in AS) is applied at the edges, making it looks more natural(it will only be applied when the text is too long for the display area)
•Implementation of this component is easy (by just adding a new tag).

Customomizable attributes include:

text:simply the text you want to display in the textfield;
width:the width of the area in which the text can be seemed. This determines whether scrolling is needed.
interval:the time interval of the timer (determines the speed of the animation);
textColor:color of the text;
smoothEdge: whether to apply the mask or not;
edgeWdith: the width of the mask;
Other attributes can be used the way you would use them with other normal text.
