FLV Player - EM1

Is there a proper way to use this with LightWindow? ( http://www.stickmanlabs.com/lightwindow/ ) The video does play, but features like full screen and rewind do not work.

Do you have an AS3 version of this player?

Dear em, i love this file, and quickly and easily implemented the html version for a website my father-in-law was doing. He was very very happy. I want to use it as well on my own flash website, and am having the same problem others have had: loading into another fla, placement of the small player on the stage, an unwanted resizing at start of movie (flash test movie). Dear em, fixed it. i had a path problem on loading into another fla, now resolved, placement resolved as well, and i fixed the unwanted resizing by commenting off the resize commands in the players AS. thank you for your nice, clean and efficient player.

I purchased this item a while back (well it was for a client so they had their own account on flash den) and just got round to implementing it on a site for a client. I am however having one little problem and that’s with the holding image.

It would appear that I need to refresh the page most times before the image shows up, do you know of this being a problem or what might be causing it?

Other than that I love the simplicity of this little player.

“or use within another flash project” my ass! I bought this with the sole purpose of using in my project. The size is all messed up now thanks to you using Stage.width and Stage.height only a million times. How can you even say “use within another flash project”. I am so pissed right now.

I’m trying to use your file, however 2 things:

1. I can’t get the hold image to display as well as the video working, i.e. if the file paths are correct for the image the video path is broken and visa versa?? not sure why? 2. When the hold image shows it doesn’t scale in teh same way that the video scales, i’ve made the screen capture the same pixel size as the video itself (1024×576) and it’s being displayed at 462×260

Can you please advise, also to note, i have the files in a folder called ‘flash’ below the index.html file and have altered the links as such (but the sample files i downloaded also don’t work straight out of the zip, i.e. the hold image doesn’t display):

I had previously purchased a few youtube video players before the API update, and was so excited when this came out

I do have one question, that I did not see in the previous comments(i think)....is there any way to get a callback when the video is done? Hopefully out to javascript, or even to a third file?

I am trying to trigger a “Related Videos” overlay at the end of the video. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, Really good looking.working file, it looks like what I am after, before i purchase I would please confirm

1. it is a simple movieclip that i can copy and paste into my own fla project, and if I do this will the player appear where i place it within my fla?

2. My fla export is to centre to html browsing window, will this be an issue?

3. I will have multiple instances of this player on different frames within my timeline, will everything still work if i simply update the path to the video file for each instance?

4. Is there an option to autohide the controls?

Im having a similar problem as ndasilva did: Im loading the video into a .swf, and then loading that .swf into another flash file, but the video keeps enlarging to try and fit the stage area. I know roughly what bit of code is causing this but unsure how to fix it. I just need the video to appear at a set size when its loaded in. Can you offer any solutions?

The Preview image when embedded on a web page does not show up. unless the page is refreshed after it is loaded… Is there a fix for this?
