Hi jtcreate, you can change the star shape to anything you like. Because they all refer to the same object. You just need to change that object.

This page has been on the background for about 5 minutes, and the amount of stars quadrupled 5 times which makes the whole movie lag.

Is that a bug or a feature..?

This is a nice effect, but the timeline and structure of it is a bit of a mess. For instance, that nice yellow gradient background is a HUGE rotating movieclip, not a color tween.

I would’ve like the effect to be a self-contained movieclip. Importing the SWF to the library of my app isn’t an option – Flash CS3 crashes. :/

Very nice effect, but is there a way to display it on a white background. I tried to change stars color but i does not change anything. On white backgrounds, stars remain invisible.
