hey guys, why is this getting so few sales, do you have any suggestions for an updated version ? We thought this would be a very useful and flexible gallery.

I like very usable interfaces. That means when I’m using a computer, I want to be able to do what I want with minimal effort (i.e. minimal hand movement as one major factor). So far, in the whole of Flashden I’ve only found two interfaces that seem to even start thinking about usability, and yours is one of them.

My suggestions would be:

1. Expand the navigation areas to cover the entire width of the screen, including on top of the photo. A click anywhere on the left of the screen would go left, a click on the right, right.

2. Keep the feature where the info pane shows up with a rollover the image. That is excellent.

3. Have an option for thumbnails. When they are enabled, make the thumbnails large enough to see what the picture is. Too-small thumbnails are irritating.

Hope that’s of some use, or interest.

Also just to quickly add a suggestion as to why you aren’t getting so many sales, in your v.2 gallery the graphics (specifically the navigation panes) are not styled in the popular way. Try something simpler/less busy.

Somewhere, I like to see a gallery of thumbnails. I got the impression that there were multiple albums but never got to see the choices. I didn’t like that.
