This simple, horizontal line preloader provides a clean, polished look. The progress bar extends the entire width of your stage, and will resize automatically with your browser or if you go to fullscreen mode. There are several color and control settings available to customize the preloader to suit your needs. You can try out several of the settings right now by clicking on the ‘settings’ bar at the top of the demo above. The full list of settings for this preloader are:
- bgColor – This is the base color used to create the background.
- barColor – The color of the progress bar
- barLeadColor – The color of the gradient tip of the bar
- percentTextColor – This is the color of the progress text that goes with the progress bar
- barThickness – The thickness/height of the progress bar (in pixels)
- showLead – A true/false value that controls whether or not to show the gradient tip on the bar
- showText – A true/false value that controls whether or not to show the percentage text
- showReflection – A true/false value that controls whether or not to show the percentage text’s reflection
- showBackground – A true/false value that controls whether or not to show the background behind the preloader.
- fadeOutAtEnd – A true/false value that controls whether or not the preloader fades out when it’s finished before moving to Frame 2.
These settings are conveniently located on their own layer in the preloader’s movieclip. To implement the preloader in your project, simply drag-and-drop the preloader movieclip onto the first frame of your timeline, and begin your project on frame 2. The preloader does the rest!
