Fullscreen with preloader and ease

Hey! The file is just great! It solved almost all my questions about full screen web sites. Thanx for that! And I have to say that also love the design ( I have to say I looked through your files and hey are awsome!). Great taste and great coding .

this thing is fantastic i haven’t used it on my site yet but the coding is very clear and the comments helped me understand what was going on. Great work man you always have great stuff. This is a must have for anybody.

i have purchased your file and i have now got round to using it and im having a few issues just wondered if you know whats going on as i cant figure it out and know one else ever seems to have this problem

i have not changed much on you file to begin with other than removing the pictures and buttons so it leaves the “mid” movie clip with just the grey background now when ever i add any content to the “mid” movie clip the content is always slightly blured and i dont know why this is happerning any ideas whats going on, it will get better or worse depending on how much i resize the screen.

I am interested in purchasing this but had a question. It’s not 100% clear to me but when you change the background image here (as in replace your gradient background) will the background scale to however large or small the browser window is without skewing, as in true scaling?

I love that your version eases the content into the center, but I need for the background to scale without distortion (true scaling) as in this example here on Flash Den:

does this work with a component instead of a movie clip. i pasted the component into the ‘mid’ movieclip and it centered but the component did not work as the coding uses a _root. function?

I sent you an email a week ago, but still haven’t heard from you, so I decided to post my comments and questions here

I like this template very much, and I also need to say the same goes for your work; it is not only very practical, but clean and elegant as well.

I have some questions about this FS file, though, since some features don’t perform the same way in different platforms, some others I can’t figure out and I would like to see about the possibility of adding a function to this template. Here are all of them:

1. “swfobject_source.js”: I read in the forum for this FS template that this file takes care of the “click to activate…” issue in IE, but it was not in the code of the html files I downloaded. where in the html source code should this be placed at? I tried a couple of places and couldn’t make it work.

2. If one quits the, the Flash content is not stored in the cache of the computer, so the preloader hits the screen every time. Does this code somehow prevents Flash from placing cockies in the visitor’s computer?

3. In Firefox there is a white stripe, at the top of the screen, caused by the following characters: ï>>¿. I looked all over the html code but couldn’t find it. Any ideas?

4. Using the “zoom” feature with the right-click function messes up the site, since it doesn’t go back to normal view when one clicks on “zoom out” or “Show all”. I disabled this function in IE, but it is still enabled on Safari and on Firefox (both in Windows and Apple OSs). Is there a way to do so or, even better, can this be fixed in the file for all browsers?

5. In Macs, the “resizing” button works in a weird way; regardless the size you extend the window to, it always goes back to a very small size, much smaller than the size of the file (I set it to be 1024×650px within Flash, including the content of your .fla file, and 100% in the html. Any ideas?

6. I wonder if it would be too hard to add a “Sticky” (like the one you have in your “FS Flash advanced”) to this file, so it could be used for, as you said, an mp3 player or a “form”. My reason is that the contact form I’m using in the site is not working and I understand it may be because it is not in the root of the main swf, but rather encapsulated in the content MC (“mid”).

7. Would it be too complicated to add to your template a function to provide the visitors the possibility of displaying the site in TRUE FULL SCREEN ? By that I mean TAKING OVER THE WHOLE AREA OF THE MONITOR , hiding the browser and everything else…

Works fine locally, but when I upload it I get the “movie not loaded” error. You can hit the .swf file directly on the server, but its not working in the HTML . lil help ?

Hi I have bought this and am very happy you are very talented, i have another movieclip that replaces mid but it has a horizontal scrolling buttons when you move mouse left and right. Since using the full screen flash it seems to not enable me to scroll all the way right so not all of my buttons are showing..I dont want to not use it and am gappy to pay you more if i can get you to help me code this as i need it all working next week please please help. If i can send you my files personally. Thank you in advance

hi, i purchased this item, but it seems not to work… i had the small square placed on the corner… and the script on the first frame…. my site is not just an external “movie clip” that i can attach another script like you have…

what do i do??? need help urgently. thanks.
