The Glossy Counter Preloader is a slick, all-vector counter that spins away as your SWF file loads. Using the preloader is easy – just drop it onto the first frame of your timeline, then start your project on frame 2. The preloader does the rest!
There are several settings available to you to easily customize the Glossy Counter Preloader. You can try some of them out right now by clicking on the ‘settings’ bar in the demo above! This preloader’s full list of settings are:
- bgColor – This is the base color used to create the background.
- blockColor – The main color of the blocks
- blockShadowColor – The dark color at the bottom of the blocks
- outlineColor – The color used for the outlines on the blocks and text
- blockOutlineThickness – The thickness of the outline of the blocks
- txtOutlineThickness – The thickness of the outline on the text
- txtColor – The color of the text
- txtSize – The font size of the text
- txtFont – This is the name of the font used for the text. The font you specify here needs to be embedded in your project to show up properly. A text field is provided in the preloader where you can change the embedded font.
- blockPaddingWidth – The amount of padding on the X axis between a number and its block (in pixels)
- blockPaddingHeight – The amount of padding on the Y axis between a number and its block (in pixels)
- blockSpacing – The amount of spacing between blocks (in pixels)
- blurAmount – The amount to blur the text as the counter moves (in pixels)
- showReflection – A true/false value that controls whether or not to show the preloader’s reflection
- showBackground – A true/false value that controls whether or not to show the background behind the preloader.
- fadeOutAtEnd – A true/false value that controls whether or not the preloader fades out when it’s finished before moving to Frame 2.
All of these settings are made available in their own layer in the preloader’s movieclip, making it quick and easy to change the appearance to suit your project’s needs. Step-by-step instructions on implementing and customizing the Glossy Counter Preloader are included with your purchase.
This preloader uses the freeware, True Type font Alte Haas Grotesk. It can be found online at dafont.com (www.dafont.com/alte-haas-grotesk.font). Instructions on how to use this font or any font of your choice are included with your purchase.
