Hi there,
I’m a real beginner, I just purchased this file, but I’m totally lost !!!
How can I use only the blue button ? I get that each button has his own layer, but do I have to delete all other layers ? Or to copy the layer I want to a brand new document ? How many layers do I have to keep (and wich ones) to have the blue “version 2.0” button to work ?
Then, how can I change the text “version 2.0”, and the link to my webpage ?
Tkx a lot for your help…
Just click on the blue button copy(ctrl+c) and paste(ctrl+v) it into your own file. To edit the text – just double click on the button it – your timeline should now say : Scene1 – blue button – then just edit the content on the layers : “version” and “2.0” are on seperate named layers
Ahaha ! Cool !
Your support is just great, it’s done.
Tkx a lot ! I appreciate.
Use the button on the stage with a simple
on (release) {
trace(“xxx”
}
and you loose all the effects
Not easy to use if we have to put the code inside the button, due to the presence of a “button” inside the button
Actually whats on the stage is a movieclip. Do ctrl+b and problem is solved. thanks for asking for my help before you rated.
is it possibile use blue buttons with as3 ?. how do i it ?. thank you
Each button has a on (rollover) which will need to be modifiied to suit AS3 – the first point in this link shows how

Way too, and way too easy, thank you so much, solved a big problem for a few bucks. Yeah!
Can’t seem to type today. I meant way too COOL !

ctrl+b doesn’t solve the problem, almost for me. i use flash 8.0
No actions can apply to this selection
go into the button and unlock the layer called ‘inv’ the inner button should now be editable – let me know if you need any more help
Thank you, it’s works for me now. Great job!
This file only works on AS2 . It would of been nice to know this before purchase.
hi daveMcf – Flash MX 2004 only has er.. AS2 code – If you need it to work in AS3 you will obviously have to re-write it in AS3
