GoTo Map - Fly over the world

hey quickyboy,

First off i love this file. I am not new to flash but i also am not that experienced in flash. I have figured out how to make the script work the way i want as far as locations and links. Now what i would like to do is create an “about” and “contact” page inside of the map. I have figured out how to create a movieclip called about and even how to give it the instance of about. my first idea was to create it so it cleared the screen well this would have worked except for the fact that the text would then be always on top. i tried giving the x,y position 0,0 but that puts the map somewhere around Australia. How do i make it so that the map is returned to it’s original state ie, the image is off the edge of the movie. also any ideas/suggestions for creating an about and contact page. I’m thinking have them come in from the sides.

this is just an update on the above message. I got my issue resolved i just had to use a gotoAndStop command and tell the movie which frame to go to on clicks.

would be nice to set links and text via XML

feha, I’m not flash wize but I’m guessing by the nature of this file that would be more difficult to do than you would think because it would have to be done by position and probably an xy cord or be done using a broader country tag.

Can this move automagically? (Either set or randomly move between countries/continents without user input?

Is it possible to get this map image file in a vector format?

Can this map start with some specific continent, without the scaling intro?

it doenst work, the mc_tween2.as isnt in the download-files?

the vector file is very choppy, like I see the pixels, isnt vector not suppose to do that?

Anyways I like the design, and the concept, its pretty good. Good work.
