Hello. I’m having the same problem as the people above.The page never shows, the instructions refer to files not present in the download.

Just want to let everyone know, I finally got the files working. I used Filezilla to upload and it wants to overright the shell.swf file for some reason. You have to be careful what you do…choose overright…and everything works. If you choose anything else, everything goes bad and the only fix is to wipe wipe out the uploaded folder and start from scratch.

So the problem is not with this author’s files…it may be with the upload process. In my case, this was the problem.

very nice! How do you embed an external swf file with xml to the page? For example, a crossword puzzle from Devarai?

I’ve just purchased and downloaded the site template. A number of people have just been getting a blank gray screen when they open the index.html file in IE. Me too. As this has been addressed previously it’s been said the download is incomplete. That doesn’t seem likely for me, the single zip file came in and unzipped fine. But I noticed in the back and forth that it was being said that maybe some files were not uploaded to a server. I don’t get that. I’ve used these type of XML templates from Activeden before and I do my customizing locally, on my machine before uploading anything. Is this not possible? Why not? It’s pretty frustrating to not get past step one. I am perhaps doing something stupid but I can’t think of what and the instructions are silent on this basic “getting started” issue. I’m running Windows 7 with IE8 and the latest Flash player. Thanks, Bob

Thanks to Lance’s replay above, I’m charging ahead. I did not know the site wouldn’t run locally without a server emulator. I’m having one final problem. There is, of course, a gallery page with this site. The instructions say, “you can have as many of each page type as you like, but each one needs it’s own xml file.” Well I want to have several image galleries for the different media I work with. There are plenty of clickable areas on the site so I could assign areas to the different gallery pages but I can’t figure how to create the second and third galleries and then associate them with the clickable areas which would open them.

Great site! I’ve got it pretty much completed and branded for my purposes but one thing still eludes me.

Is there a way to link between pages? I’ve tried placing a full URL (https://www.mydomain.com/deeplink/index.html#/otherpagename/) in the content of one page but it doesn’t work.

Is their a way to achieve that cross linking without having to go back to the street view?

How do I insert hyperlinks in the “About” XML ? Regular HTML tags don’t seem to work.
