TBH I don’t have any knowledge about Flex. (I’m planning on having some)

This preloader is basic alpha masking with AS3 animation so in my opinion if there is a possibility that it can be compatible with Flex (without me doing some extra work) then it is.

if you mean an Mxml Application then you should note that flex it will generate automatically a preloader for you, but this preloader can be customized with whatever graphics you want. But that involves some work.

btw this looks very good
