I’m having 2 problems

1) The images won’t load everytime in Firefox 3.. sometimes it does, but most of the time it doesn’t… Just the spinner (loading graphic) sits there and no images appear

2) I have it set to 3 images at a time.. But for some reason, when its on image 2 and ready to scroll to image 3, its skip’s past 3 and land on 4.. Then it play’s to 5, only to find that it then skips to 7.. For some reason it plays an image, then skips the next one and repeats..

Help would be great on these 2 issues.

This is a nice piece of kit, but unfortunately I did presume that I did not have to have the links, if not needed. One of the sites I wanted to use this for definitely will not have links and I have to omit the ‘pointing hand’ so as not to confuse clients.

I note your earlier advice to Iries about rewriting part of the script around line 237 to remove the links. But I can’t find this in the script!

Can Nellie or anyone help please?

Man your script is great. But in my site is causing the machine to run slow. And it breaks the browser if i leave the screen open. Can you tell me what’s going on?

Thanks.

Hello,

Nice work on this. I want to use this in Sharepoint 2007 and hook it up to an image library so my users can update it without involving me. Do you have any insight on how to do this in Sharepoint?

Thanks

Hi,

Can anyone help me with this, I’m tearing my hair out. I’ve included this scroller on our site, and appears to be working well at first. It loads in as an external SWF . When you return to this page having clicked on one of the other main links, the scroller still works but the 2 buttons don’t.

I’ve been told that I need clear the Vars, but I’m not sure how to do this. If anyone has any ideas then please drop me a line

Regards Gilo

I am also having the Firefox 3 (Mac) issue. Most of the time, images do not load. Only the scrollbar appears, smaller and offset from the bottom edge around 50px.

Occasionally, I can get them to load by refreshing multiple times, but this usually does not work.

All other browsers (Mac & PC) are fine.

Any suggestions?

Is it possible to get the previous and next buttons to disappear when reaching the beginning or end of the slideshow?

Or is there a way to have this continuously scroll infinitely? So next would keep looping the images or previous would bring you back no matter what position you are in?

This script and file is great, but runs very erratic at times… I can clear the cache in the browser, the flash permissions, and edit the xml file to turn off autoplay and it still runs on autoplay, jumps or skips images and flat out causes the browser to run very slow. I wish there was an update to this file with a few bugs worked out ;)

*Overall great work, needs tweaking though.

I really like this – it’s easy to use and flexible. One question – is there anyway to loop the slideshow back to the beginning so that it appears seemless instead of scrolling from the last slide all the way back to the first?

Thanks and keep up the good work!
