Great file. can you dynamically adjust magnification? Do you have this in AS3 ? Can it work on animated SWFs.

Hi! thanks for comment! It works on animated swf! I only have it in AS2 You can adjust magnification by moving the arrow arround the glass. Or if you want to edit the scales you can change some variables on the code. Hope it helps!

Thank You very much for your speedy reply. That helps. If the SWF contains a video clip would there be a problem in zooming into the video while it is playing?

no problem, I just tried it. Great Idea, nice effect, maybe I update the preview later to show this. (I tried with a .FLV video file).

Nice, there were some sand box issues in earlier versions of flash that prevented this from happening. But I see that Adobe has relaxed this. Now if this were only in AS3 , you have a bigger winner on hand for video forensic investigations and remote security camera footage analysis. If not I think it may work with an AS3 Bridge program to wrap your AS3 version.
