XML Image Gallery

Any size you like, it is set up in the XML file.

There are no content restrictions with this Gallery. You can have as many Gallery sections as you like, plus unlimited images! If there are more main Gallery sections that can fit on the Stage, it will automatically scroll with the mouse to reveal hidden sections.

The buttons for each Main Section have a thumbnail image, with a text roll over for its name. Any external image can be used for this thumbnail, so customizing the look of these buttons is easy.

The thumbnails for the main images for each section drop in from the top of the stage with a stylish easing effect that slows them at mid stage, on roll over the thumbnail will pause, roll out and it will continue to drop. Selecting these images loads their corresponding large main image onto the stage.

Both the main image and the smaller thumbs have loading indicators, which cab be customized. The indicator for the thumbnails is a swirl animation and for the main images it is a ‘percent loaded’ text box with backing.

Thumbnails have a roll over text box to show there number in the sequence, as well there is a text box that indicates how many thumbnails are in the collection and the name of the collection.

Loaded images have a text box to displays the images name.

Menu section and image thumbnails will slide off stage if the mouse is taken right and back on stage when the mouse moves left. This allows for better image viewing. When they are off stage the Slide Show controls, Previous & Next buttons slide on stage.

This XML driven Image Gallery allows you to set up your customized Image Gallery quickly and dynamically. Paths to images are stored in the external XML file, along with variables for building the gallery, which allow you to customize the look and layout, from colour to positioning to sizing and much more.

You can Drag and Drop this Gallery from the library onto your project Stage or attach it dynamically through ActionScript. Sizing is controlled in the XML file.

Customizing this Gallery is easy.

Changing the font is easy, choose any font in your font library.

The Gallery is extremely customizable! And all of it can be done in the XML file.
