The new “Image panning” component has support for either image files (png, jpg, gif) or swf files. It can load images/movieclips from an external url or directly from the Library. It comes with a well written documentation, it is more flexible, the code was totally rewritten.

IMPORTANT : Due to a possible flash bug, loaded images will have a maximum of 2800px width/height. I’ve tested it in several situations with different size images but I couldn’t find a fix for it. It seems that it is a flash limitation.
