@ Kenny_Boy: As you see, this file didn’t sell as expected. If something changes the following weeks and more people request it, I will try to implement this feature for a future update. At the moment, I just think this is too much. Thanks though, for making the initially abstract idea a little more specific.

@ themaesgallery: Unfortunately I am not familiar with javascript, so I don’t think I can answer your question. Sorry about that.

@ emmanuel: You can only use simple swfs (animation for instance) without any interactivity (buttons, event handlers, etc.) because you won’t be able to handle the events generated.

I just purchased this. I had purchased a previous gallery run by xml that was a component and easy for me to understand. I’m in way over my head on this one since it seems it’s all done in scripting. This is not for a Flash novice. It looks so beautiful, I wish I had the time to learn all this.

Can I just use this as a stand alone flash item on a website, and not embed it into another project? If so, how do I make it work?

Thanks!

@ HeroicEarth: You can use this swf as part of your html web page. I mean you don’t need to have a full-flash website and use this class inside of it. You can customize this movie creating a swf with the specs you want and then load this swf to your page. Just have in mind, that by clicking on the menu items you can just load external urls, and you can’t pass parameters to your html page. I hope that was helpful enough.

Hi is there a way to put a button for example over the top of the imenu when loaded? Ive tried this but the button is always hidden behind the menu when loaded. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

I would like to purchase this file but I want to know if it’s possible to add a label on top of each section in the collapsed state? So I can use it more like a menu. Also is it possible to have each section reveal more of the image than a thin sliver as you have on you example?

@erynn1:

That’s really weird. None of the other 42 customers, mentioned such an issue.

Are you able to see the other files (xml, swfs, documentation) after you extract the archive. What version of Flash do you use (opens with CS3 or above)? What error message do you get when you try opening the fla?

Thanks.

Hi,

Great work!

I want to call a javascript (or whatever) when the user passes the mouse over an image (frameOver).

I wonder if it’s possible to have events triggered onrollover rather than when a user clicks on an image?

Is this possible? I’ve messed around with the iMenu.as file but no success.

Many thanks,

Kieran

@ kieran: Yeah, I think there’s a way to trigger events onRollOver. You will need to create a custom event class (for instance MenuEvent), via which you will somehow pass the id of the item clicked. You can modify the rollOver function to dispatch this custom event. So, when you instantiate your iMenu object you can add an eventListener to listen for your custom events. In the event handler function you will check the value of the item id passed and execute different commands, functions etc.

Hope that was helpful enough. Thanks for buying my file!
