Yes you can. The only thing the Full Extended license excludes is reselling our items as templates. Because that’s our job
The Puzzle Creator is an Application that allows you to create as many puzzles as you like, you will need an Extended (or ‘Full’ license if you buy directly from our website) to resell multiple Puzzles.

Hi. How do I change the size of the game to fit 1024×768. May I use the XML file or is it necessary to change a configuration in Game.fla?

you can change the dimensions in the html file.
In the example included (deploy/index.html), we use SWFObject to embed the swf :
swfobject.embedSWF(“Game.swf”, “flashContainer”, width, height, “9.0.0”,”swf/expressInstall.swf”, flashvars, params, attributes);

Thank you for your kind answer, but I want to put the jigsaw in a CD. Maybe it’s another solution. I don’t want it to open through a browser. Can I change the code somewhere to make it fit 1024×768 resolution? Thank you again!

You can yes : you should open the flash file in Flash CS6 . Righ-click > Document Properties, change the dimensions to the required size.
Using the theme file you can now alter any object’s x and y coords to place them e.g. at 1024×768 resolution, you will need to place the jigsaw grid at x : 512 y : 384 . It’s easy when you get the hang of it

Is it possible to load a swf at the end of the puzzle, rather than a graphic. <backgroundImage type=”image” title=”Background Image” desc=””>themes/default/assets/images/Afterpuzzle.swf</backgroundImage>
This does not seem to work. I’m assuming it’s because it’s a swf and it’s looking for an image. I’ve changed it at the bottom of the xml file as well, so it preloads or whatever it does.
Hi pmarval, not possible at the moment i,m afraid. The images you’re loading are registered with a bitmap manager so they can be used and reused wherever they’re needed, a swf won’t work in this system.

Hi I purchased your puzzle creator so I can use it on my free to visit personal website . It should work fine with my cartoons and illustrations. All at no charge of course. If anyone is interested I can post my web address. I like the way one can set the theme to fit my art. Hope I can ask for help if needed.

Hi. I can’t find any settings to change the overall size of the game area. Is it limited to 641×381px ? I was wanting to make more room for the puzzle pieces to make it easier the player while doing the puzzle. Is there any settings to allow changing the puzzle diagram. It’s okay, but it would be nice to be able to modify it. I don’t have the flash software, if it is needed to make either change. Thanks

Lastly, how do you change out the logo where it says Jigsaw Puzzle Creator?

Hi Kelly, the logo can be changed from within theme.xml file. (deploy > themes>default>assets>xml>theme.xml) under LogoSettings>customImage. Please make sure you also add your new logo’s url to the assets section at the base of this this too.
Could you let me know how your trying to change the size of game, are you trying to change the dimensions in Flash Professional?
Great! i got the logo okay, but as for the dimensions I have not opened any of the files up in Flash itself (I’m on CS3). All I did was go into the index.html file and the theme.xml file to change the size. Any help would be appreciated!

I am so very confused – we’re still trying to figure out why we can’t resize anything (Chris is on that, I believe), but now I’m getting a score of 0 every time we do it. Is there any support or FAQ on the countdown stuff? I don’t even see a countdown clock but the XML file seems to have some information about it, I just don’t know how to get any of it to work! Help!
Me again – I re-downloaded the file and re-programmed in my edits, but the scoring system at the end still is not working (it says my score is 0). Please help as we are on a major deadline!
