To change the size of the flash:
Just open the source file(.fla) in flash 8(+):

Change the size as you wish to fit your image width and height, ex. 300200 (the default size is: 700390) and republish swf and html format, then copy the html code to your own webpage.

Note:
The height of thumbnail depends on the height of the flash and perPage you set in XML
