can you play flvs? or even swfs with embedded flvs with this? i need something that does both images and flvs

I didn’t test. It should work exactly the same for swf files – but I presume you know you will not interact with the swf files, since the focus is on the button on top of the application.

It was created as a viewer for large images, with zoom and navigation.

does anyone know of a or have you made any good galleries like this one that are xml and play both images and swf with embedded flvs or just flvs?

- How do I send an image to the viewer on the fly? The images are predefined in the XML . - Does the default opening view have to be 100%? If not, how do I change it?

So I just bought it and its not working in flash 9.

Cant seem to get above flash 6.

Can you please advise how I can tweak it to work under current version!

Just trying to get this file to work as I need it…

Where do I change the default image size that is set on import.

I need my images to be seen at 1 to 1 on import then by able to zoom from there.

Still cant get a the flash 8 file working in flash 8.

The fla’s that are in the source folder, it says that one of them is a MX2004 file the other a v8 file.

You can open the v8 file in flash cs3/4 however when you go to publish a swf as a flash 8 file as2 it does not work.

Yet it does work when u publish as flash 6 as2 swf.

Is this file able to work under flash 8 or even 9 – any current version ?

Just forget it bobcel – This file is just no use to me the way it is.

What do you mean save down to the version I need – you mean up to a current version.

And whats IE6 got to do with it.

I am currently on cs4 – but tried it in cs3 as well. Thats totally not the problem anyway.

The problem Im having is the files in your download say there is a mx version and a flash 8.

What Im saying is that the flash 8 version only works if you publish to a old flash 6 swf.

If you try to publish a swf above 6 say to v7/8/9 it does not work anymore. And it just comes up blank.

It may open in flash cs3 and cs4 and you may have saved it as a flash 8 file – but the code is only written to support flash 6 it seems.

Look I don’t know as much as you about actionscript but you obviously have mad skills, however I do commission a lot of freelancers on flashden and in the real world with my media company that is 15 years old and have being working in flash since 1997 dude – so Im no idiot but i never had so confusion about such a simply thing.

I don’t want my money back, I just want the file to truly work and publish in flash 8 as promised.

I’m trying to display an image that’s 8000px wide. However, the tool will only display about one third in width. Is there a way to overcome this?
