great job, nice copy’s of mac & windows scrollbars too. With OS detection you could even show the windows scrollbar for windows users and the OSX -looking one for Mac.

How do i bring the scroller into a new project? I can view it and use it in the .fla that it comes with but when i try to bring it into another file i get a bunch of errors. I didnt see any directions. Could you brush me up on how to get it into a new project and how to change out the scroll bar. Thanks

@ClaytonCassidy : Hi, you need to copy the code in AS panel (4 lines of code) together with the scroller into your new fla file. Also, you will need to copy the Scroll.as file into your project folder. These has been told in the documentation, also, there was a sample file (MagicScroll_main_simple.fla) that contains only 1 scroller with 1 textfield so you could have a look of how simple things are.

Anyway, if you feel it’s difficult (for non-AS user) then drop me a line through my support den with your project files and i will show you how to plug it in.

okay got a problem.. I got three instances of this.. All working fine.. but they are each in a seperate frame on the same movie clip..

When I play the video and it goes from one frame to the next the font on the new frame starts high then drops about 3 pixels or so..

any ideas?

I like this scroller but I can’t get it to work with any skin except the vertical default scroller. Please tell me how to use the other skins. I’ve tried copying and pasting and applying the code to new skin – doesn’t work.

Please help.
