Dear Nemo,

Can you show text other than what you are moving the magnifier over? I have been looking for something like that for students to use that could benefit from a textual paraphrase. I work with second language learners. For example, if we were reading the Declaration of Indpendence, as the student moves the magnifier over the text, he or she would get a much simpler phrasing. Can your product do that? I would be so excited if it could. Thank you in advance for your answer. Please write me at sylvia.baxter@jefferson.kyschools.us

hi Nemo, thanks for the script i’d purchased it and work with it. However, i do have some glitches here and there. I am able to zoom fine, but there isnt a small rectangular magnifying portion like the one in your demo what i have ENTIRE area being zoomed around. will you be able to check my files? i can email you. also, it’s possible for me to redesign the ‘magnifying glass’ object right?

hi Nemo, sorry i couldn’t locate your email address. mind posting the email address here? I do have another problem. Is there anyway to alter the script such that the ‘magnifying glass’ only covers the area within the zoom_mc and reverts itself back to the original mouse pointer?

Hi Nemo,

Thanks for the script, I am trying to get the magnified area to be duplicated to the left of the image, so as you pass the magnifyier over the image you get a copy of the enlarged area in a static movie as well.

Any help gratefully received.

Hello, I am interested to buy the Magnifyer. However I first woudl like to know if this utility can integrate with an existing FALS template I purchased on this site, and where the producer seems not to be very cooperative at all, so I woudl not reommend this template at all, many many bugs and quite a mess inside the code ( http://activeden.net/item/portfolio-template-with-xml/full_screen_preview/8179 ) – Nevertheless now I have this template and want to integrate the Magnifyer under the section Portfolio second page where the picture are beiing displayed on a large size. Could you please simply let me know if yes that your Magnifyer will work for my neds? Thank you again for your time…..

The file works great for vector artwork, but when I put a .jpg into the “container” movieclip, it gets really pixelated. Any help on this???

Thank you

Hi Nemo I purchased your magnifier and it was easy to figure out What I need it to do is apply the magnifier to not only internal objects but externally loaded ones as well….

In my example: soldesigns.com/riverstone/FRANCIS_GABLES_AS2.swf

I am able to apply the magnifier to the underlying map (magnifier not shown in this example), but the links that you check on are loading external .swf’s ….

If you could help me develop this, I would gladly give you another donation or purchase another one of your products or something…
