Hi Joe – not sure I’m getting that category thing…are you saying that the content for each category playlist is actually in the top bar which you left/right scroll to see track names individually and then click to play…ie. there’s no ‘dropdown’ list like you have for the categories… ?

when i rollover the scrub bar, it drops down – when I try and click in it or to a new position it just resets to start 0sec position, whatever I try – can’t scrub at all…?

Strobus – Yes, when you click on a new category, the song’s for that category populate the top bar and you can click left/right to check out the different songs for that category. The ‘reset delay’ option sets the amount of time the player waits (without interaction) before the top bar resets to show the current song that is playing. The drop down that lists the categories does not change (unless you select the info button).

I’ll look into the scrub bar issue…

Thanks!

Joe

yes I would be interested if the playlist went up. also I find it interesting that no one designs a vertical player/playlist I think there could be a lot of use for that (hint)

0 sales for a reason. PULL YOUR PRICE DOWN . $20 is unacceptable for this product.

@Tenche – I actually wrote support a day after this was approved to lower the price, but never got any action out of it.

As for being unacceptable, I don’t think that’s the case. It may be higher priced than other players on FlashDen, but for what it’s worth in any other scenario $20 isn’t that much considering the functionality and the dynamic properties of the file.

Hey Joe, LOVE the flash player. I am having some issues with it accepting the flashvars though. Always seems to want to look for the default baseXML file.

If I can get that working, this thing would be perfection. Thanks again!

I have fixed the error that’s messing up the flashvars. Email me through my Author Page and I’ll send you the updated .fla file.

Thanks for letting me know about the issues.

Yes, it should work for you. I have built in listeners and functions to be able to control the player externally, as seen by the preview here on the site. I don’t recall if I included the preview file in my download, but if not, just email me through my Author Page if you purchase the file and I’ll get it to you. That would help you figure out what the listeners and functions are to incorporate it into your site.

Hey Joe, Nice player. One issue I’m having is the Autostart isn’t working. Well, it is starting automatically. But when I set the AUTO _START in the XML file to false it still auto starts. Any ideas?

After further review… I found that if I turned off Loop, then the Autostart setting worked correctly.
