Nice features you got there
Very nice. Simple is good.
I just bought and have an existing project with many movieclips and buttons that I want to add tips to.
I already have onRollover(), onRollout(), etc. defined for each. Adding the tipconfig(); and tip(“test”); call to the onRollover function of any clip does nothing. Why not?
I see you’ve wrappered your sample with:
onClipEvent (enterFrame)
and then define your rollover, rollout in there. I tried that on one and it works but I don’t want to go back and do that for each of my clips. It’s not allowed for buttons.
I don’t understand what you’re doing there. Why is that necessary?
How do I use the tooltips without the enterFrame wrapper? How do I put a tooltip on a button?
Thanks.
Any one out there? I bought the product and need help. Given this is programmed as a MovieClip extension, how do you add a tooltip to a button?
stmulligan’s issue has been fixed…there is no problem with the script – it functions with movieclips and buttons as well – he just didn’t know how to correctly code it. please write your issues in email so I can respond quickly.
Is it possible to control the time delay for show and hide? Thks
