UPDATE : -Fixed streaming issue. (thanks feha) -Fixed preloader not showing up after first load issue. -Slimmed zip file down (included 2 tracks, instead of 5) You can live test the single player here: http://www.rasterboy.com/_work/flashden/audio

Enjoy!

I’ve always wanted a clean and easy to use mp3/audio/music player for my blog that was extremely flexible in customization options. Couldn’t find one, so I decided to create my own – hope you find this helpful in your projects too!

You can set your own graphic background (it automatically tiles so you don’t have to worry) or stick with the minimalistic default. Colors can be changed – for accent color, player color, and text colors.

Playing around with the colors and a custom background graphic using blend modes can result in an infinite combination of customization. There’s also a glossy option if you’ll be using this on a site that utilizes those glossy buttons.

You can just drag this onto your own flash project or easily throw it up on your site/blog by just tweaking the flashvars.

The player has load tracking as well as progress tracking. Another feature that may be convenient is that the player will automatically resize itself to the parent container using flex width option so you never end up with a strange layout when trying to add it into your existing site. The track titles will switch between scrolling mode or static mode depending on the player size.

You can of course turn this option off if you’d prefer a manually set fixed width. This means if you decide to throw it into your sidebar on your blog, it will fill up the width automatically so you won’t have to drive yourself crazy tweaking pixels. Plus it’s only 28k.

Hope you enjoy using this file as much as I did creating it! Please feel free to leave feedback or questions. Thanks!
