Im getting the following error when opening this page, or clicking on any of the Example 2 buttons:

That error is only related to the preview here on FlashDen when using the Flash Player Debug.
If you try the other html demo the error is not present.
I contacted support to try to discover where the problem is, so hopefully it will be fixed very soon!
ok… Im in need of the specific clear glass example… and I need to edit the images or main movie clips for that particular style. I can’t seem to find them.

I presume you are the same person that wrote to me an email 2 days ago with a similar question. Anyway… I’m writing the same answer here (in case it could be also useful to others).
Have you already read the help manual paragraph “HOW TO MODIFY THE APPLICATION TO YOUR NEEDS ”?
Basically you need to configure the menu through the xml file and then include it in in your website pages, or in your Flash application.
What can help you more maybe are the demos inside the “extras” folder. You can start from one of them and simply modify it to fit your needs.
To edit the xml configuration file you just need any text editor. For more info on how to embed an swf inside an html page you can check this link: http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/wiki/documentation
i have the sources but i have a hard time recompiling ..im using cs5
1. i open the original fla from the as3 2. try to recompile using ctrl+enter 3. error

the XMLLoader.as is already copied in the same directory an even in classes/ directory
i have even try to modify the XMLLoader.as to begin with packages{ end with }
no success
second metod was to try include “XMLLoader.as” in the portion of as3 in the menu (mc), no success..
i have wanted to modify the gotoAndStop with gotoAndPlay frame
you have some idea how i could pass that error?
all this i have tried even in cs3

2-3 hours later… dam in actionscript settings on mail movie i do not have the . and the .classes for import …. for that i could not compile from source …
my bad…good menu as the end, good developer.. stupid buyer

To obtain the “clear glass” style you just need to edit the xml, setting the buttons transparency to 0:buttons_backTransparency="0"Please refer to demos in the “extras” folder to see how they are made (to create the examples I always edited only the xml, never touching the fla).
If you want instead to modify the buttons graphic completely, you can open the fla and edit their movieclip.
Open the “MirrorTabsMenu.fla”, go to the library and check for MENU ELEMENTS > BUTTON folder, where you can find all the elements used for the buttons graphic.
Here you will find only a color, because that (aside with transparency, fonts, etc…) is changed dynamically through xml.
