Hello. Impressive gallery you have there. I am wondering though if it has the option to display the categories first when it opens. Furthermore, if categories can show first, will they display as text or as blocks of images? Thank you.

You can start with categories opened at the beginning and it will look like this:
So it will simply open the first level menu without loading any category.

Hi Tean,
Looking at the preview in your post above and double checking on a few things.
I like this file alot but need this for specific use – please bear in mind I am a newbie on flash and xml.
I need to place instructional videos with sound online and on CD or DVD . Regarding the Category preview you posted:
Would I be able to spruce up the preview with images and/or color behind the menu portion and an image for the overall background?

my stage is 780×600. my innerpage area for videogrid is – 570×600.. i have 30 videos. but the problem with aligning to stage (delete AlignToStage ?).
my question is : how can i manually to set up positions for this grid and positions for buttons play , dropdown(menu_mc, controls_mc). how to delete unecessary buttons

In what are you placing this gallery?
In html page, or something else?
If you want to get rid of some buttons / controls you will have to manually edit the code.
There is no such option in the xml files, to remove specific controls.
And buttons and controls are used through wide variety of code, so i dont think removing some of them is an easy task.
What buttons/ controls would you like to remeove?
btw, please contact me on my email, its much easier to write there than here…
