yes the default browser size for this is 1000×600, so if your browser is smaller than this, and at a later time one resize the browser you will get not resize issue. So what you can do is see the section where the onResize function is. In there you can change all 1000 & 600 values in the if statements to something lower.

did you just directly copy and paste the script attique gave and publish the movie ? then you get an error and the flash freezes ? if yes, notice “auto” is not in blue you need to retype it as “auto”.. again, notice the difference of two double quotes. If this is not the case, please email me your files.

Is there a way to make the scaleImageToFit=”true” make either the height and width of the image fit – depending on wheter the image is landscape or portrait in orientation?

Most of the images in my gallery are landscape (wide); however, a few of them are portrait (tall). The tall ones are fitting full to the page (from left to right); however, the top and bottom of the image are getting cut off.

Please advise on how to adjust this to fit vertical images. I don’t mind if their is blank space on the left and right side of the image.

i love the slideshow, i got v2. one little problem, tho: the menus. i have created movies to include (within the setup.xml) as menus and have achieved partial success.

2 movies work as expected, while another 2 will not load.

of the problematic ones: one is a map, the other is another (smaller) slideshow.

there is nothing unusual i could find within these 2 files, no references to the wrong timeline _levels. but they simply don’t load. they flicker – quickly, every 1/4 second before the movie has loaded. also – the 2 movies load perfectly when called on their own (outside of the slideshow / menu).

any ideas?

i’ve been scratching my head on this one for days now…

hi there, if I have a portrait image, is it possible to have the image scale to fit? I.e so the top and bottom won’t be cropped off on a widescreen monitor?

the only option available for this version is scale to fit OR show in original size. In version 2: http://activeden.net/item/myslideshowsitepro-v2/9977 you will have 4 scaling methods to choose from.

hey! great file. im having an issue: I am loading the slideshow .swf into a movieclip using an xml file. The first time it loads it looks great and functions perfectly. When I load another slideshow .swf into the movieclip the timer and slide number icons go crazy. it suddenly starts skipping around a lot and is very inconsistent. Any suggestions?

Is there a way to reset the file everytime it loads? thanks so much. I bought both v.1 and v.2 but i need to use v.1 for this.

about the questions of roidelune and Alzi about “moving” loaded swf’s you suggested to have a gotoAndPlay(“label” and at the labeled frame put a play(); but it doesnt works to me, and i dont see any answer about it in the discussion list, there’s no way to make it work?

it was a mistake, this file does not support SWFs.. i have already put a notice in the product description soo long ago.

If I only want 1 swf (About) like you have one V1, what do I have to do? I have fix so I have one swf, but its fade black! Its like a mouse over effect that make it been little fade black.
