Please note, if your total tweets are less then specified in the setup xml, it will not work. So do specify num_of_tweets to be equal to or less than the total number of tweets on you account.

Sept 21, 2009: ver1.3 Fix to allow external swf with document class(myTwitterReader) to be loaded into a main project file.

Aug 15, 2009: ver1.2 Follow me button link was not linking to the users main page on twitter.com. Also, those with longer username & url was displaying in two lines instead of one was fixed.

July 26, 2009: ver1.1 Issue with rss loading inIE and not in firefox fixed. No longer using rss to get the feed, calling a xml from twitter instead. Still uses PHP to read the feeds. Also twittercounter.com is no longer needed as the info is available in xml from twitter

• I have php5.2 installed but i still cant get the feed in. On of the possible reason why its not able to pull the data, if you see: http://www.yoursite.com/info.php

  allow_url_fopen is turned off, this is a common security setting to now allow outside files to be included. You can read more here: http://wiki.dreamhost.com/Allow_url_fopen

  to get around this, download this file, just copy the .ini file into the same folder as the rest of the my twitter files. Before launching the flash file, head to: http://www.yoursite.com/loadxml.php?username=TwitterUsername to see if you are getting the feed via PHP successfully.
