@djavu: You can use this effect with any font you like. But of-course with this kind of sample font it looks the best.

is there a way to have the flickering light always on? I am able to remove the text input stuff and add my text but i would like to just hat it be my text and a constant flicker..but I understand if this isnt what it was designed for..if its possible let me know its a fine file the way it is..

I love this effect, nice work! Is there any way to apply this to a vector or to a logo for example? I understand that it would probably look strange unless the logo had similar shape to this font…

The effect works on any shape or font you like,

And add this text at the end of your code:
