NumboJumbo is a game based on numerical pattern matching. Throughout our lives, we learn certain constants to such a degree that, at some point, we even stop thinking about them. They just become those unspoken, ‘automatic’ assumptions. Things like ‘ there are 26 letters in the alphabet’, or ‘3rd on a match is bad luck’. So it’s not so much a matter of knowing (you know that you know it), but more a function of remembering. Little bits of trivia, inexorably linked to statistical precursors – the numerical mumbo jumbo of our lives. And so, NumboJumbo – it’s not what you know, it’s what your remember. And just how quickly you can do so. But if you don’t have enough time to finish the game, you can exit and resume the next time you play.
