LATEST UPDATE

Update – 29.06.2009 – A minor update with bug fixes.

This update included the fixes #1 and #2 noted below update No. 2 on 25.06.2009.

• Bug fixed with background image loading when video player showcase is selected.
• Fullscreen bug fixed in “index.html”
• MouseWheel scroll “com” folder added to remove errors when recompiling fla.
• Fixed the javascript error experienced by Windows users in IE8 and possibly earlier versions, caused by mac mouse wheel scroll implementation.

Buyers who are using the update No.2 package dated 25.06.2009, need only to download and replace the “flash file”, “swf”, “index.html” and the “com folder”, from this update. Buyers who are using update No.1 from 19.06.2009, should replace everything if they wish to use this update.

Update – 25.06.2009 – A major Update adding new functionality, increased edibility and minor bug fixes.

• Mac mouse wheel scroll now supported.
• Launch any portfolio item from any new item (See the News section in preview)
• Choose to auto-scroll to any category’s featured project from any news item.
• External link option from news items retained
• Option to hide any/all portfolio item thumbnails but still link these items to a news item or a featured Project(see note)
• Added the option to designate any featured project or any/all thumbnail as unclickable.
• Fixed text hyperlinks in the portfolio item descriptions.
• Fixed centering of the services modal window at launch and on browser resize.
• Added resizing of services modal window to fit content length
• Added option to hide “featured project” tag on featured item image.
• Added editing of text on “featured project” tag from xml file.
• Added editing of color of “featured project” tag from xml.
• While using context navigation menu – if the services drawer is open, it close automatically upon selecting another menu item.
• Mp3 track play once option added
• Mp3 random track at first load, option added.
• Text size increased in portfolio category drop down menu
• Random background image at first load, option added

_Note:_With this option the portfolio section of the template may consist of many categories with no visible sub thumbs. Each featured project can then link to one sub item thus launching the “advanced modal window”. For an example see the “Design” category, here the items are hidden, though clicking the featured project launched one of them. Also the news items may link to a different hidden sub item.

ADDITIONAL FIX #1 It has been brought to my attention that the fullscreen button is not working after this update. To fix this, simply replace line no. 11 in the “index.html” with the following line:

“var params = { scale:’noScale’, salign:’lt’, menu:’true’, allowfullscreen:’true’ };”

(without the double quotes) This fixes it.

ADDITIONAL FIX #2 It has been brought to my attention that the current index.html file causes a javascript error in IE 8 and possibly earlier versions (Only on windows). This is due to the mac mouse wheel scroll implementation. The fix for this error is as follows:

In “index.htm” replace the following line(15)

swfmacmousewheel.registerObject(attributes.id);

with this line:

if (swfmacmousewheel) { swfmacmousewheel.registerObject(attributes.id); }

One page portfolios are an increasingly popular way of displaying the work of creative professionals. They represent a straight to the point approach for presenting personal work, requiring little effort from the viewer, which translates into longer times spent on the site and more of your work reaching more of your visitors.

1PageFolio is a dynamic and easily customizable multi-media website template, perfect for pitching your work to potential clients with a very polished look.

FEATURES :

This is the first area of the site seen by visitors. This module offers 3 different optionfor getting your message to the visitor. Slide Show, FLV Player, SWF Movie Player.

Option a: Slide Show

• Any number of slide you want;
• Numbers appear at bottom to select any slide;
• Set slide delay time in XML ;
• Set auto start in XML ;
• Number of slides exceeds numbers area, navigation arrows appear;
• Slide numbers auto scroll so current slide’s number is always visible;
• Caption option for each slide, supports HTML formatting;
• Caption X & Y location can be input in XML ;
• Different caption location for each slide supported;
• Swf can also be loaded into a slide.

Option b: FLV player Module

• Auto play option;
• Loop option;
• Controls appear on rollover;
• Scrubbing enabled with time display;
• Click seeking enabled;
• Volume control, initial volume set in XML ;
• Click video or button to pause/play;
• Mp3 playback pauses when video is played.

Option c: SWF Movie Player

• Load a large SWF interactive movie as your showcase;
• Also caption support with adjustable X & Y positioning.

Introduction / Tag line area with “Jump-To-Portfolio” button:

• HTML formatted tag line box;
• Portfolio category selector drop down menu at bottom for immediate jump to portfoliosubsection;
• Category selector automatically updates if further subcategories are added to the portfolio.

• Draggable services drawer always at top of screen not affected by scrolling;
• Drawer supports double clicking to maximise and minimise;

Categories:

• Add extra categories, page automatically gets longer;
• Featured Project item, chosen in the XML ;
• Featured item background color can be changed in XML ;
• Description of the category editable via XML ;
• Thumbnail grid;
• Tag and project “new” and specify color in XML ;
• Each thumb item supports as many sub items as you wish;
• Clicking thumbs launches the “Advanced Modal Window”.

Advanced modal window

• Opacity of the background cover can be set in XML ;
• Item sub images, video, title, sub title, description and optional external link areloaded;
• Sub title is displayed on image rollover;
• Window resizes to fit it content loaded though XML ;
• Option to display thumbnails of other sub items below window, in XML ;
• If thumbnails exceed allowed width they auto scroll;
• Next image can be selected via thumbnails of next/previous arrows;
• Next/previous arrows remain invisible if there is only 1 item;
• Total number of item and number of item being currently viewed is shown;
• FLV video sub items are supported;
• If a sub item is a video it will display a “play” symbol on its thumbnail;
• Video load/progress bar displayed on video rollover;
• Progress bar supports click seeking;
• Clicking of video toggles playback of video item;
• If a video is selected, any music which is playing will pause automatically and resume afterwards.

• Header Image (png) loaded from XML ;
• X & Y position and size of this header image are editable in XML .

Background Image:

• Background image is loaded from XML ;
• If no background image is loaded background defaults to a grey gradient.

• Logo Image (png) loaded from XML ;
• X & Y position and size of this header image are editable in XML .

Footer Image:

• Footer Image (png) loaded from XML ;

• The template supports full screen functionality;
• Full screen toggle is located in the bottom bar.

Contact Form

• Contact form message editable in XML ;
• Form default text editable in XML ;
• Form auto clear 5 seconds after successful email;
• Status message for errors , sending and success;
• Email sent via php file, (disabled in preview);
• Auto reply email send to user and email sent to site owner.
