Organic Template DeepLinking XML YouTube AS2 AS3

Update 1.1

This update adds 2 more transitions:

• a conventional fade in/out
• a fade in/out combined with zoom

You can define (XML) a single transition for the switch from a unit/module to another and for each unit/module internal passage from one page to another, or combinations of 2 or more (3 transitions already included; more transitions can be added, in a convenient way, at a later time). The configuration XML provides control over each transition parameters (the transition type – one of the 3 transitions included – and the duration, in seconds, of the hide-show phases). For demo purposes, the black preview uses the organic transition for the general switch from one unit/module to another, the fade-zoom transition for the news gallery, the team-members gallery and the fixed size gallery (internal use) and the same organic transition for the multi-categories gallery and the projects gallery (internal use). The white preview uses a single transition: the fade-zoom transition.

NOTE : when the preview window pops-up please click the Remove Frame button placed in the header in order to remove the Activeden’s iframe, otherwise the deep-linking will be not functional.
The WHITE VERSION (low contrast) preview multimedia content is minimal in order to reduce the filesize, though there is no difference (in terms of functionality) between the two cromatic versions of the file – the colors and the backgrounds defined in the configuration XML file make the differences.

Organic is a fully XML driven, highly configurable and fully deep-linked template, built on an AS3 modern basis. The template has full multilingual support and includes 12 different content presentation units (modules) that cover almost all needs and offer wide range multimedia capabilities – they are able to handle images, ActionScript 2 / ActionScript 3.0 SWF animations, videos, MP3 audios and YouTube direct video stream. Simply edit the XML files (using a common plain text editor) and you’ll configure, customize, add content, create galleries, extend etc. the template – no need to edit/compile programming code.

HIGHLIGHTS

  All units are reusable without limitations. Each unit can be called as a menu and/or submenu entry. External links can be placed as menu and/or submenu entries.
