Nice idea.Nice file I have a big problem with the CS4 though. I hadn’t noticed it and ti is completely useless me. Can you please save it an older format?

Within the Actionscript, comment out lines 177 – 197 and you should be good to go.

Sorry no. The file was setup to just go to the next image and so forth.
hi, now that i deactivated the lines 177-197, the links do not work.

I’m not sure if you added any space or any code into the actionscript so make sure when you are commenting out these lines they are as follows: Line 178 should be: images_mc[img].createEmptyMovieClip(“text_mc”, 2); Line 197 should be: images_mc[img].text_mc._alpha = 0;
Double check that. I commented those lines and everything in between and it worked fine.
Is there a way to get rid of the drop shadow and make the according be open on frame one until rollover of another photo?

Yes. You can remove the drop shadow within the Flash file. It’s just a filter applied to the images.
I’m not sure what you are looking to do when you say “be open on frame 1”. Please be more specific.
The file is set up as when a rollover is inactive it shows us 4 equally spaced images. When I rollover it expands to reveal the rest of the image. What I want is when the player loads is it for to already be active on img_ and stay active until the user rolls over to another image.

It’s not setup that way. You should be able to do this within the Flash document if you wish though. My suggestion would be to call the accordion function once the first four images are completely loaded.
Good design. Great job.
One quick question, if I only have 4 banners in the xml file and i click the left/right arrows, some of the banners will disappear. After I clicked on the left arrow 3 times, for example, only two banners were left and the other two had disappear. Do you know why this is happening and how to fix it? Is there a minimum amount of banners that I should have?
Last thing, this banner would be really great, if it would start rotating automatically. Is there a way to do that?

Probably best if you only have 4 images for the banner, to double it to 8 with the same four images. I’ve recently updated the file to include the automatic slideshow but haven’t uploaded it to the Den yet. This may be something we do in the future.

Hi! Thanks for the great piece of design. One question: Is there any way to aply picture smoothing? When I am resizing whole thing, pictures getting non-native resolution and become not so good.
This is just what I was looking for- however, is it possible to toggle off the text and its background that pops up when you mouse over the images? That would be extremely helpful, thank you!
Nevermind- just realized that deleting line 178 takes care of it. Thanks again for such a great product!
