PACK 5 BACKGROUNDS CARBON

Let me start off by saying…I am a new designer…new…so, my question is do I add the flash file to my existing Flash site or do I add this as an external xml file in Dreamweaver?

I tried importing the backgroundcarbon file into Dreamweaver as an XML file and it pops up an error box stating, line 10, Column 9 is has duplicate editable reagions, and also says its the wrong format.

I tried added the bkg.01 file into my existing site I’m creating in Flash and my head is about to fall off my shoulds because I can’t figure it out.

Also, using a PC, not MAC ….Have Adobe Creative Suite CS3 .

please help out a new gal, trying to make her way…

Please use the same structure or the same structure example we use in the package. Index.html file, main.fla file and call the background you want. Please follow the manual instructions to understand it.

Hi.

So i purchased this item and need a little help. I have the same issues as “duneglow” shown above. I have loaded the background file as a separate file and then loaded a new swf file on top of that and i still can’t seem to get the background file which is the document that i purchased to load on the lower level so say. Please help me out with this! I’m working on this project for work and need to figure this our asap.

A new swf file must be loaded in top of your background indeed but not inside the background.fla file. We’re supposing you’ve done this way. The code is using the nextHighestDepth which means that inside that fla the last object to use this command will be on top of everything. So, use a main.fla with 2 containers. In one you load the background. In the second one, placed in a layer on the top of the other, you must load a new content. Make this test and you’ll understand how it is done.

how do i make it so the background is alligned “LT” but my actual site is center aligned

Enter the background fla file and enter the ‘actions’ layer action painel. You must edit the X and Y position of objects so it gets aligned TL and not on center stage.

You cannot add a logo inside the same file. The background is formed by a small pattern that is multiplied the number of times needed to fill the browser stage. It uses the nextHighestDepth so it means that each pattern will always be on an higher level when added to the stage overriding the logo all the time. the logo must be included in a different swf file.

First of all congratulations for the background! I am need some help… I seem to have the same problem as “jmtweb” Can you help me with this? I need to center my web in the middle. Since i added your background it moves to upper left side. If you need to do this custom charging me, no problem…

I have bought your file and I’m really liked, but I have a problem, I didn’t realize that was made in AS2 , and my website is working in AS3 , and doesn’t work.

There is chance to change this file to AS3 , or I have to pay again for get this file working at AS3 .

Please let me know what you can do
