Compatible with Flash CS4 +, and Flash Player 10+, this file is designed to provide a unique, dynamic, and mouse-reactive background for your Flash project.
A matrix of mouse-reactive particles is displayed and reacts to mouse movement in and around the area of effect, creating a 3D depression in the particle field around the mouse cursor, like a “warp-bubble”.
ParticleField may be implemented either as a fullscreen background or as a background to a localized area inside your project (i.e. placed inside another MovieClip).
If you’re even just a little bit familiar with working in Flash CS4 +, you’ll have no trouble following the instructions included here for intended use. The included files are intended to be used within your existing Flash project.
This file has a handful of settings used to control the display of the ParticleField within your project, and to adjust demand on CPU performance.
Finally, the ParticleField particles, themselves, may be customized with a little Flash know-how, by following the instructions provided.
