Hi totoro,

The tiled effect is created from a small .png located inside the .fla

It’s located in the “pngs” folder and named “Tile”

To change it, first delete the current file (right-click > delete) and then import a new tile into the library:

file > import > import to library

Once your new tile has been added to the library, right click and select “linkage”. Then select “export for Actionscript” and change the “Class” field to “Tile” (case sensitive).

Hi Totoro,

In the library there’s a folder called “HTML Page Assets”. There you’ll find a MovieClip called “MainText”. Double click this and adjust the text field’s width. Next double click the MovieClip called “TextBack” in the library in the same folder. Inside that clip you’ll find 3 MovieClips on 3 different layers. Adjust the width of each of these clips. And lastly, open the following file:

cj > template > Doc.as

And search for the following comment:

// resize the text bg

Underneath this comment, change the line of code to this:

textBack.sizeIt(sh - 36, sw - textBack.width);

Next save “Doc.as” and republish the .fla

When adjusting the TextBack assets, add a little extra width for a text margin.

For contact form resizing, find the library folder called “Contact Form” and double click the “Contact” MovieClip. Inside here you’ll find the form’s assets where they can be resized and repositioned. The contact form is designed to be centered so make sure the x and y position of your assets is minus half the total width and height of the form. For example, if the total width of the form is 500, the x position should be -250.

2) Yes all menu pages can be multiplied with xml

3) The template may not include the special characters you need. The fla library assets are highly organized.

Hi Jack,

I am downloading this fine masterpiece these moments…. Just a question, however, if the answer is already in the documentation, just forgive me my hurry… .:)

My current screen resolution lets me see 6×4 squared thumbnails as the maximum – and I have no scrollbars at the bottom/right side. But when opening the images, there are far more pictures in the gallery.

Is there any way to let the visitor know about those “hidden” images? I mean to make the thumbs smaller or somehow…?

OK, thanks for your detailed explanation, everything is clear. So I think at the moment it would be the best if I mention somewhere in the text area that there are far more images viewable, than expected by the number of the thumbnails… fine, no problem.

I will start customizing this template soon. Will get back to you in case….but I don’t expect any difficulties right now.

Only Twitter is supported in this file. But converting it to an rss feed would probably just take an hour customization job.

When you say “get rid of the title” you mean the “John Smith” text? Yes you can leave it blank in the xml.

I bought the 4 pack, working on Photographer’s Dream.

Can you take a look at http://hoiyinip.com/source/? Depends on the size of the browser & monitor, the height of the banner can get so long that my name is buried in the white space above menu items & the grey area on the right extends beyond the banner image. Any tip on fixing this without CS?

This is due to the bg image not resizing correctly. Check out the size of the bg image used in the download, and make your bg image that size and it should work better. If your bg image doesn’t work in that size, send me an email from my profile page and maybe I can adjust the resize code for you.
