PHP Directory Reader

Required: 1. PHP enabled server 2. Flash Player 9 or higher

Step 1: - Open “php_dir_reader.fla” and go to the ActionScript frame 1 on layer “code” - Open actions panel (F9) - On line 15 change the URL to match the directory you want to read Example: directoryToRead/readDir.php

Step 2: - Go to the Library and double-click the “box” Movie Clip - Select the top layer “code” on frame 1 and open the actions panel (F9) - On line 3, change the URL prefix to match your domain name and directory you want to read Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/directoryToRead/

Step 3: - Export(ctrl+enter), Save(ctrl+s), and Close(ctrl+w) “php_dir_reader.fla”

Step 4: - Upload “AC_RunActiveContent.js” , “php_dir_reader.html” , and “php_dir_reader.swf” to your server - Upload “readDir.php” into the directory you want to read

Step 5: - Test Example: Use a popular browser to test your changes http://www.yourdomain.com/php_dir_reader.html
