Can I use this for baseball or golf?

Yes. You can use this for any project you want to allow user to compete over top score. Any game, project that has a rank-able numeric score can use this.

Do I install the points or can it be set up that individual competators can insert their points? For example … they get one point for each round of golf, 10 for an amateur golf club or league contest and 20 points for a charity event. Bonus points are awarded if they place in the top five. I expect hundreds of participants. I expect that I will insert their names on the leaderboard as they sign up but it would be less time consuming if they insert their rounds and points.

The system does not manage points, that is up to you how points are distributed, as it is part of your game’s logic. The system only uploads what it is given, and displays what it has stored in descending rank. The system allows for registering users, and allows updating of their scores; so as you need you can update the scores. For your rounds, you simple crate tables as you need so instead of “easy difficulty” name that table “round 1”; there is full instruction in the documentation and creating the tables is a simple 3 step process in my system (all in the documentation). If you need to have an auto-update score feature i can assist you with that; a simple function call [Update-score(name, round, score)]

OK … I’m going to give this a try. I’ll likely ask you a question or two if you don’t mind.
