Placing Words

I don’t really understand your question.

My problem is that when a viewer goes to my page, “placing words” is cached in their browser. I update the xml file to change the words that are displayed, but when the viewer returns to the page again they do not see the new words because they are viewing a cached version of “placing words”. I just wasnt sure if you knew an easy way to do it within the flash component.

But the problem is that each time the user wants to see, the swf file should load it from the beginning.

Hi, thank you for the great file. I embed the file with small dimensions, around 350*200px. It results in a lot of overlapping of the words. Is there a way to reduce overlapping? Thanks!

Please use showdelay and staycount attributes in XML file to increase words’ appearance delay. So, that only 1-2 words stay on 350X200px screen at a time.

Thank you for making this awesome file. I have one question. How can I get it to stop looping? In other words, I want it to stop at the last sentence and not cycle to the first node again. How can this be achieved?

Fantastic work with this, we’ve found it really useful. A couple of queries.. I wonder if you can help:

— is there an easy way to avoid the phrases overlapping each other? We’d like every phrase to be legible and separate, but we also want to display lots of phrases on the screen

— is there a way to completely disable the out-scatter effect? We love it scattering/rotating in.. but we want it to simply fade out (or even instantly disappear) rather than scattering/rotating out.

Any help you can offer would be invaluable.

Not sure if support for this is still being offered, I was wondering if it was possible to do paragraphs or multiple lines per action. I was going to use this for a testimonials page, and have it bring in different testimonials most are longer than one line. Or does this script only do single lines.
