This is an easy to use 800×400 widget for displaying XML news. It is designed to be graphically simple and functionally solid, for easy skinning and use into your project. The selling point with this news reader is that the formatting is in your hands, meaning it can be many many more things than just a news reader. It can also be a mini blog, a schedule with links, etc. There are 2 versions included, an easy drag and drop one for use in your project, or a FlashVar one for use in your HTML pages, the FlashVar changing the path to the xml file.

If body text is too long, a scroller appears for use.

If there are too many menu items on the left, then it starts autoscrolling through them based on mouse movement.

Simply colored and laid out, for easy use in your project. Text colors are edited through an external CSS file.
