nice file
Wow, really one of the greatst files on the marketplace! Hats off!
Nice work ! I’ve got a problem anyway… I’d like to import the swf in another clip (in AS3 , using new Loader()
but it’s not working.
Do you know if it’s possible, and how ?
Thank you !
First off, Let me just say amazing work! I’m wondering if there is a way of making the markers links to urls?
Can this be done?
Regards
I See. Is there anyway of removing the controls also? had great difficulty trying to find this
hello, I have purchased the item but i don’t see any source file (fla, as, etc. etc.) could you please tell me how modify the globe? thanks in advance Andrea
Hello, I have another question, How can I create new object like BOAT or AIRPLANE ? I am not familiar with 3D Studio Max but I can learn….. thanks
This might be a dumb question – but this would be perfect for my project. Is it possible to geo-locate points on top of this? I’m comfortable with AS3 , but I don’t know that much about PV3D . Let’s say I have 10 points lat/lon… can I convert those to points on top of this globe somehow? Or is it just too difficult?
<marker latitude="39.1234" depth="6" color="0xFF0000" height="6" longitude="40.030455" width="6">
<wrapper style="{'width':60,'height':20,'bgColor':'0xFF0000','borderColor':'0xFFFFFF','alpha':0.8,'smooth':true,'arrowSize':0,'closeBtn':false}">
<content>
<item type="ScrollText" properties="{'width':50,'height':20,'x':5,'y':0}">
<font color="#FFFFFF">Hello, World. Put your marker here with the latitude and logitude</font>
</item>
</content>
</wrapper>
</marker>
also, this file integrated the goole map api. you can add points with the google map api. purchased file have the full function for the google map api. thanks.
So I ended up purchasing this, and it’s working great. I’ve been reviewing the code, and I have what I think is a simple question. It doesn’t seem to be able to run (in a browser) out of a folder on my local machine. If I upload the exact folder to a server… it will work just fine.
Is there a way that this will work with just the .swf in a player on a machine? (Without having to run in a browser on a server). Am I missing something really simple? Thanks!
You need allow the flash player to read your disk file. you can add the folder which located the dowload file from here
Can’t imagine why this was rated only 4 stars after three votes! I know pv3d but this file saved me a ton of work on a private little fun project I had to finish in limited time. Awesome coding; very easy to follow. I’m glad my vote took to 5 stars
Come on all you buyers! Give it the vote it deserves.
Flashembed,
This is a great product!!
I have looking all over the net for something this!!!
I would like to purchase, only if I’m able to integrate ESRI ’s ArcGIS API for Flex instead of using the current Google Map API for Flash.
Can you provide to code to accomodate this request?
Please respond as soon as humanly possible; this is really an urgent need!!
Thanks in advance!!
Flashembed,
This is connected to my initial request.
Also, I would like to use ESRI ’s ArcGIS API for Flex map layer(s) as the texture/material of the globe instead of the vector map being used as the current default.
Thanks again,
Al
I am thinking about buying this to show some global incidents on, but I don’t know the difference between flex and normal flash. Does this come with a standard .swf file I can just pop into a website ? I read here that it is totally actionscript powered, which would suggest that it isn’t the case. Hoping I am wrong, and it can be used as a standard flash embedded object, as it would be perfect for the project I have in mind. Look forward to your reply.
work? maps api for flash is deprecated? Thank’s
Fernando
